ABOUT ME

Jacob Valentin is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator from Western Pennsylvania.

He prides himself on his detail-oriented workflow and precisely honed technical skills. His work is grounded, precise, and adaptable, yet always delivered within efficient time frames. Ever the quick learner, Jacob is diligent and proactive in problem solving through self-study, having successfully taught himself many of the programs that he is now adept with.

Jacob has interned for IUP’s department of Graphic Design and Illustration, designing a variety of digital materials for official department use during the Fall semester of 2022. He has also organized multiple on-campus events through the Graphic Design Student Association, taking the lead role in production of advertising materials, design of flyers, and digital marketing. He also organized and directed the rehearsals, as well as managing the cast of the event himself.

In addition, Jacob has successfully vended and self-promoted his personal work at various conventions and venues, building a loyal customer base by leveraging his people skills while selling his own work.

Jacob is currently studying at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, to graduate in May 2023.
